If the DNA strand in a single human cell were uncoiled, it would be 2 meters long.

The human body has about 37 trillion cells. DNA in each cell is 2 meters long. Total DNA length: approximately 74 billion kilometers. That's enough to go to the Sun 500 times and back! Despite being so long, DNA fits in a cell nucleus just 6 micrometers wide. Nature's most incredible packaging!
